| You Are My Jigsaw Pieces |

By Geeta Molahally You are my jigsaw pieces fitting so seamlessly into my amoebic being and making me whole Interlocking into my my years, my fun, my being You fashion a special person from this misshapen piece Without you my vulnerable edges are exposed to the elements and words and moods of pieces that are totally incompatible. By myself I am a stand-alone piece-y but networked and connected with my life-stations, fellow piece-ys I function well and make sense of a world that at most times seems senseless. Without you, I am just a Amoebic being Indefinite, with faults and foibles that you embrace and draw into a whole that is me complete. About the author:
Touchy-feelyWordy wench Pens poems When she feels The wrench of A thought An emotion A hug A scent A memory Of a full life Well spent Anything That brings A smile A spring in the walk Heel-clicking in midair happiness Something to visit And revisit and enjoy The pore-permeating Goodness of being alive. |
