The deadline for the Ontario Arts Council - Artists in Education grant applications to be received for consideration is November 17.

Grants are provided to allow professional artists from all artistic expressions and cultures to provide in-depth learning experiences for Ontario educators and learners. Successful applicants are placed on a roster for a one-year term. 

The roster may be used by Ontario educational institutions when planning their arts education programs. 

The sectors in which applications may be made are: Aboriginal Arts, Arts Education, Franco-Ontarian Arts, Literature, Multidisciplinary Activity, Music, Theatre, Visual and Media Arts & Crafts.

The program is open to professional artists from all artistic expressions and cultures interested in working with Ontario educators and learners on projects taking place in Ontario educational institutions. Projects may involve any educational institution recognized by the Ontario Ministry of Education and Training from Junior Kindergarten to Ontario Academic Courses.
