Event Calendar

Attention all composers out there! The Hockey Night in Canada Theme has been chosen, but we at MAC (Mississauga Arts Council) need a theme song too! In case you didn't hear - MAC and IndieTalent.ca are holding a songwriting contest! 

We are looking for some theme music for our MAC Hour on IndieTalent.ca. Excerpts of this music will be used as intro, outro, and transition music for the show. The winning entry ALSO gets a 1 year membership with MAC, AND a 1 HOUR feature on IndieTalent.ca!

Entering is simple:

1) call Carla at the MAC office for an entry form

2) fill out the form and submit your song to the Mississauga Arts Council either on CD or as an MP3

3) Pay the entry fee of $2.00 per song

A panel of judges consisting of MAC and IndieTalent.ca representatives will review and score the entries. The contest closes on December 31, 2008! The winner and runners-up will be announced in February, 2009. Good luck to all! Contact Carla at (905) 615-4278 if you have any questions!
